I have been a qualified Sports and Remedial male massage therapist for over 15 years and I do believe that there has never been a more important time for touch and specifically, massage!
As more of us are working from home, and not looking after our postures because our desks and chairs are not comfortable; therefore there is a build-up of even more work-related stress and tension, particularly in the back, neck, and shoulder region. I am here to remedy that stress and tension and here are just a few other musculoskeletal problems that I have come across and helped with over the years:
Circulatory problems, headaches, Repetitive Strain Injury, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic Muscular pain, Sciatica, Plantar Fasciitis, Whiplash, Tendonitis, Running injuries, Bursitis, Postural Dysfunction, Tennis elbow & Golfers' elbow.
I use Songbird Sports Massage Wax which is light but great for control and grip and will leave your skin beautifully moisturized. As an alternative, I use almond or avocado oil, or for an even more indulgent aroma, oils like frankincense, neroli, and rose.
